RDR: Undead Nightmare was a downloadable add-on to the original game which altered the world to be overrun by zombies. For these illustrations we flipped the top down “high noon” lighting to come from below for a more horrific effect. While most zombies in popular culture are inherently grey, we looked back at the classic monster portraits of Basil Gogos and took a more colorful / psychedelic direction.
